Casual Ocean Cardigan – by Francesca Hughes

£7.00

Casual Ocean is a slouchy, drop-sleeved cardigan with a interesting yet simple wavy stitch pattern. Inspired by a record my Hub and I stumbled across in North Laine, Brighton, and bought purely for the fantastic sleeve, (think beautiful marble background, with a framed image of a painted posing dog and a young boy wearing a sailors outfit holding a posy, in front of a photo of a epic lightening storm over a lake. It was discovered to be a prog rock record, with some very mixed reviews according to all the Internet ‘experts’.

Casual Ocean is knit from the bottom up in one piece, split for the sleeves and joined at the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up and knit at the armhole and knit downwards.
