Crochet a Harlequin Stitch Ombre Cowl with Liz Croft
In this session we will work through the basics of the harlequin crochet stitch. Whilst at first this stitch can appear daunting with it’s clusters of stitches and zig zag appearance, the fabric tends to tell you what you need to do next after you’ve established the pattern. The harlequin stitch creates a lovely dense crochet fabric that lends itself to scarves, snoods and blankets and by playing with colour you can create dramatic effects that highlight the stitch pattern in all its glory.
Liz Croft is the crochet teacher at The Loom Shed where she can be found trying to convince everyone that crochet is the answer to most things! Using a gradient of KBN mini skeins, she will teach you how to work a colourful project that’s an ideal introduction to Harlequin Stitch. If you’re ready to move beyond the granny square, this is the one for you!
