Doppio Colosseum Shawl – by Fay Dashper-Hughes
This pattern can either be crocheted or knitted, depending on your preference.
The pattern structure is simple but effective and easy to memorise. The beauty of it is that you can use as much yarn as you want and so leftover yarn is minimal. The shawl is based on five blocks of linen stitch and four open rows to represent the vaulted arches of the Colosseum in Rome.
