Pattern Notes

This large striking shawl is knit from the smallest corner by casting on a small amount of stitches. Increases and decreases happen on every row, and the stitch pattern is worked at all times when there are enough stitches to complete the pattern.

Version 1 is worked in a lighter weight and has a dramatic fringing, where as Version 2 is worked in a heavier weight with all ends tied in. Of course the versions are interchangeable, just ensure you purchase enough additional yarn to complete Version 2 with fringe. Also the beauty of this style of shawl is that you can continue to make the shawl as big or as small as you want.
