Going Free Solo means to climb without ropes or tools, hanging onto the cliff face with your bare hands believing you are strong enough to bring yourself to safety. Melanie Berg has named her new knitting pattern Free Solo as a reminder of just that, having trust in yourself! Luckily, Melanie’s pattern provides us knitters with plenty of instructions and help to create this gorgeous jumper so we are definitely not left hanging! This design is worked top down using three shades of Harvest Hues 4 ply and a slip stitch pattern to create the subtle colour changes on the yoke, hem, and cuffs. The whole design is worked in the round so circular needles are used throughout. Small circulars, DPNs or magic loop is used for sleeves.
