Glacier Cardigan – by Rebekka Mauser

£5.00

The easy to wear, short and boxy GLACIER cardigan scores with lots of texture and a very comfy fit due to a drop-shoulder construction. Stay warm, cozy and well-dressed in this super-quick and fun knit! The open-front cardigan is worked bottom up, starting with a provisional cast-on. More and more stitches are cast on at each side, shaping the dipped back and the rounded fronts into a curve. When the underarm is reached the front and back are worked separately for the armholes. Short rows shape the shoulders and the shoulder seams are closed with a 3-needle bind-off. Stitches are then picked up to work the long, slim sleeves top down in rounds. A neat i-cord edging completes the body and is repeated at the cuffs.
