Finished Measurements
1 (2, 3, 4) with a finished unstretched circumference of ca. 40 (46.5, 53.5, 60) cm / 15.75 (18.25, 21, 23.5) in.
Finished length from cast-on edge to top 28 (29, 31, 32) cm / 11 (11.5, 12, 12.75) in and ca. 21 (22, 23, 24) cm / 8.5 (8.75, 9, 9.25) in with folded brim. Length can be easily adjusted.
Teti likes her hats closely fitted, that’s why the sample is shown in size 1 on a model with 54 cm (21.25 in) head circumference.

Gauge
24 sts & 28 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles measured over 1×1 ribbing worked in the round after blocking;
25 sts & 28 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles measured over the pattern of cables and slip stitch ribbing worked in the round after blocking.
Needles
3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.0 mm (US 6) 40-60 cm (16-24 in) circular needles;
4.0 mm (US 6) double pointed needle (optional for shaping the crown),
Always use a needle which results in the correct gauge after blocking.
