Green Fuz Yarnadelic Worsted – Yarn Special

‘We’re not too fast, we’re not too slow / Come along baby, to see where we go / We’re the Green Fuz’ – Green Fuz, a chilled surf rock inspired number, by punk legends The Cramps

Our brand spanking new Yarnadelic Worsted has been out in the world for almost two weeks now – hurrah! We’ve given this yarn a three fold structure (by plying 3 singles together) so it’s packed full of squish and bounce, with exceptional stitch definition… Packaging up your orders and seeing all of your colour combos leaving the Mill is so much fun! Rather looking forward to seeing what they become.

And if you haven’t had a chance to sample this swanky new worsted yet, then this limited edition shade, Green Fuz, a nuanced mélange of green, blue, brown, yellow & orange might be just the ticket! Every now and then we as you folks to help us design a limited edition shade, and we are always blown away by the results. This shade is rich and moody and perfect for squishy autumnal sweaters or bobble hats!

These skeins are 100g and 216m

Yarnadelic is 100% Falklands Corriedale. The breed is around 100 years old and was derived by crossing the Merino and Lincoln Longwool. It is one of our favourite fibres as its properties are a perfect balance of delightful softness and bounce from the Merino combined with the slight lustre and long staple length of the Lincoln Longwool – a fibre lover’s dream!

By giving this yarn a rounded 3 fold structure, we’ve enhanced the fibres natural stitch definition and drape creating the ideal all round go to yarn for everything from cables to lace and garments to accessories.

Our Corriedale is farmed in the Falkland Islands – ensuring that the animals have been treated with the utmost care and are free from harmful mulesing. The fibre has then been dyed in the UK and lovingly prepared, blended and spun at our North Devon Mill.
