We now offer handy kits of this pattern to celebrate our Mill Open Weekend Special Shades. All kits include enough yarn to make these wrist warmers, a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting! We do not stock the pattern ourselves, but you can buy it from Aleks’ Ravelry, here.

As part of our annual Mill Open Weekend shenanigans, we always create a limited-edition mini collection of yarn and tops to help celebrate in style. This year we’ve been even more excited than usual, as we’ve been collaborating with some rather fabulous designers! Emily Wessel (Tin Can Knits)Aleks Byrd, and Ysolda Teague-Long have each created custom shades of our beloved Yarnadelic.

We have knitted up some samples using these special shades of Yarnadelic in a few of our favourite designs by Emily, Aleks and Ysolda. The beautiful Hilja Wrist Warmers, by the talented Aleks Byrd are a fabulous way to try out the Estonian technique of Roosimine, creating this fabulous motif that allows you to combine some of your favourite shades. The wrist warmers are named after Alek’s grandmother, and we can’t think of a more splendid tribute, than these woolly warmers!
