KNITSONIK – Felicity (Felix) Ford

We are chuffed to bits to have Felix joining us for our MOW celebrations! Click this link to attend her Mill Open Weekend talk on zoom at 10am Sunday.

Felicity (Felix) Ford is a practicing artist who primarily works with knitting and sound – hence KNITSONIK. Felix is best known for her enabling and celebratory approach to translating everyday inspirations into stranded colourwork, and for demystifying the creative process. She has published three books on this subject – one of which is a colouring book.

From soundart commissions produced for museums like The Wellcome Library and the Charles Dickens Museum, to self-published knitting books, Felix’s creative practice uplifts and explores the textures of everyday life as a continual source of joy and inspiration.

Felix loves teaching because it allows her to share her tools, methods and ideas in an atmosphere of playfulness, generosity and joy. She is currently working on a special class for Knit Stars 6, using John Arbon’s Knit By Numbers yarn range and applying ideas from her knitting books.

John Arbon Mill Open Weekend attendees can take advantage of a special 13% discount on all products purchased through the KNITSONIK shop by entering the following discount at the checkout from Friday 4th – Sunday 6th June, 2021 (please note, this code will not work outside of these dates):
