Lost in Sherwood Socks Kit
We now offer handy kits of this pattern. All kits include enough yarn to make these lovely socks along with the pattern, a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting!
The Lost in Sherwood Socks pattern is designed by our friend Nataliya Sinelshchikova. Click here if you’d like to buy just the pattern, without the yarn.
Imagine as you walk through the woods, the mesmerising picture of the sunlight coming through the trees. Nature always was an inspiration for me, especially when it meets geometry, and Lost in Sherwood socks is no exception.
The design features a simple stranded colourwork pattern that creates a particularly warm fabric, perfect for long walks and chilly weather. The socks are knit toe-up, using a hybrid of the German short row heel and Heel Flap and Gusset techniques for an improved fit.
kit includes 4 skeins in the colours of your choice. This is enough to make all sizes given.

Recommended to be worn with a negative ease up to 2 cm / 0.75”. The stranded colourwork patterns create a less elastic fabric, if you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit I recommend going up a size.
