MOW Exclusive Project Bag – by Katie Green

£8.00

To celebrate our Mill Open Weekend shenanigans, the fabulous, Katie Green Bean has illustrated a glorious limited edition drawstring rucksack style project bag, especially for you lovely lot.

Sheep wearing ear defenders, dungarees, and operating Cuthbert (one of our gillboxes) no less. They’re very kindly making Down the Allotment tops for our MOW – hehehe. And not only are they making Down the Allotment shades, Katie has illustrated a Jacob and a Merino – so these fine lasses have also donated their fibre to keeping us all in glorious crafting supplies – hurrah! We’ve also managed to sneak Phil into these photos as he is Cuthberts main minder. Its a rare work day which goes by without Phil firing Cuthbert up and knocking through some gilling.

Katie has illustrated some fab designs for us in the past, but this one has stollen our hearts, so we hope you’ll love it too… Our vintage machines are rather special to us (without them none of this would be possible) so we just love the way she’s captured Cuthberts good side. The bag is the perfect size to carry your latest project, but stick it over our shoulders and you’ll be set for your wander over the moors or a picnic on the beach.

Printed in the UK on 100% Cotton. Cotton and bag manufactured in India in a Fair Trade certified factory.

A bit about Katie…

Katie Green is a very talented artist, working mainly in illustration, design and comics. She also self-publishes zines, and creates and contributes to books and other publications. You may also have caught Katie onYouTube, where you can keep up with her works in progress, knitting, sewing and other crafts on her podcast. If you’ve not checked it out yet, we’d definitely recommend a watch! The act of creating – more than any finished product – is what Katie loves.

When not creating, you will find Katie walking on the Welsh hillsides with her dog, Jack.
