The Pattern

Shake a Tail Feather is the seventh design in Rachel’s Organics Collection, a series of designs inspired by the natural world or by the work of other artists who are inspired by nature. Just up our street! The inspiration for this design came from the pattern of layered feathers that form the plumage of birds. Rachel told us that the idea for the name of the design came from our own Yarnadelic shades – all inspired by pieces of music. The gorgeous pullover is worked top-down, in the round. After the neckband, short row shaping is incorporated for a great fit. The majority of the yoke features a stranded colourwork pattern.
