Stars in the Sky Shawl – by Emily Foden

Stars in the Sky is a textured, square shawl that is seamlessly knit in three sections. First a centre square is knit on the bias in a simple textured stitch pattern. Second, stitches are picked up along the outer edge of the square and a star stitch border is knit around the centre square. The border can either be worked in one colour or incorporate subtle striping to showcase the gentle colour gradations in Alpaca Supreme. Last, a simple crochet picot edging is worked around the outside of the shawl in a contrast shade to finish.
