This beautiful book by Dee Hardwicke, published by Laine Publishing is a true celebration of colour and creativity!
Dee is a master at pairing perfect colour combinations and we were thrilled that she decided to use our wide range of gradients in our Knit by Numbers DK to create the wonderful patterns in her ‘Butterfly’ chapter.
If you’ve seen Dee’s Instagram page or taken a look at her patterns on Ravelry, you’ll know just what an inspiration her creations are. From start to finish, Dee’s design process is a joy to behold and always gives us food for thought. In ‘The Knitted Fabric’, Dee lets us take a glimpse at her watercolour sketches, swatches and creative musings, and shows us how we can make our knitted projects our own.
The book features a lovely mix of decorative quilts, shawls, cushions and garments that celebrate fibre and texture. We can’t wait to get started!
