The Mill Cowl is knitted flat in one piece and then seamed after blocking. The fabric is knitted on the bias to give it a beautiful squishy drape whilst being worn. Cables are charted only.

John Arbon Textiles Devonia, or any other 4ply.

Note: Sonja has used two different bases for my samples, any 4-ply or Sport Weight yarn would work well.

Darning needle, 1 stitch marker, cable needle

Gauge

18 sts x 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inch square measured over Garter Stitch
Always use a needle size that results in the correct gauge after blocking
