Sample Knitting
We're always looking for reliable, thorough sample knitters to add to our sample knitting database!
Whenever we launch new colours, a new range, the Annual or kits, we often need a few sample knitters to help us knit up the projects we'd love to showcase. As part of the sample knitting database, you'll be contacted when we have new sample knitting opportunities and can then decide whether you'd like to take the project on.
We are looking for sample knitters who have / are:
- Good knitting skills
- Comfortable and thorough following written patterns and charts
- Working to the gauge and measurements specified in a pattern
- Reliable and able to work to a deadline
If you'd like to become part of our sample knitting database, please send a short email to marketing@jarbon.com and include:
- Your name and shipping address
- The type of projects you are most comfortable with (techniques, accessories vs. garments, large or small projects, etc.)
- Samples of your work – this can be a link to your Ravelry project page, your Instagram profile or photos of your knits
Our sample knitting is of course compensated for! We cover all shipping costs and pay 12p a meter with a bonus 25% if you prefer store credit rather than cash, and add a £30 finishing fee on garments.
