We now offer handy kits of this pattern. All kits include enough yarn to make the cardigan, a limited edition button badge and a fab project bag to keep it all safe. Happy knitting! We do not stock the pattern ourselves, but you can buy it from Laura on her Ravelry page, here.
If you ask us, there’s no better way to spend your time, than knitting a beautiful item that you know you’ll wear and love year after year. Here at the Mill, we have all been swooning over the beautiful Midland Cardigan by Laura of Penrose Knits, so we knew we needed to make kits for this oh-so-versatile little piece.
Laura’s sample, knit in our Appledore DK ‘Golden Knob’ is such a joyful way to jolly up your winter wardrobe, but the clean lines and simple, but elegant construction make it a year-round staple that will be just as easy to throw over a summer dress or shorts on a chilly spring evening, as it is to layer over cosy winter basics.
Laura has such a flair for coming up with clever construction techniques, and explaining them in a way we can all understand and enjoy, The Midland Cardigan is no exception, and we think it’s an absolute winner!
