These magical packs of colourful yarny goodness are a vital part of our spinning process here at the Mill. When we create our yarn, we always have to test it along the way, to check our colours and weights are all as perfect as possible. We take a small amount of the single ply yarn and wind it up on our special test skein winder, creating these mini twiddles!

We want to make sure we are creating our beautiful products in the most sustainable way possible, and that includes reducing waste and making the most of all the steps of our production. These twiddle packs are a very happy by-product of our spinning process. Not only are they just the cutest darn things we’ve ever seen, we’ve found they are incredibly useful for a huge number of other crafts – especially embroidery!

Each pack weighs approximately 500g, which contains around 50-60 twiddles in a variety of colours and yarn ranges. Each twiddle has around 70 metres / 80 yards of yarn.

As these are a by-product of our spinning process they may have a few imperfections, and are limited in quantity. Whenever we have some available we will add stock so do click to be notified if the product is showing out of stock so you’ll be first to know when more are available.
