Customer Showcase

Occasionally we like to do a blog showcasing items our talented customers have shown to us…

Here are just a few fab things…

RandiKN on Ravelry has knit the Tambourine cardigan by Julia Farwell-Clay from a past issue of Pom Pom Magazine. Randi used our Viola yarn in English Mustard. We just love this colour and fabulous pattern. Here is a picky of her sporting her lovely new cardi. Photos belong to RandiKN.

Last week the wonderful Joan popped into our Lynton shop. She came in to show us her freshly spun and knitted cardigan. Joan has been a supporter of ours right from the beginning. Made from ‘Siren’ top – a Merino/Silk blend. She has hand spun and hand knit the entire garment, creating the pattern using a lace motif. Absolutely stunning!

Here she is stood proudly in front of Knit By Numbers in the shop….

Next we have Mandy, (mmknitter on Instagram). She has been very busy creating a recycled yarn for her guild exhibition using little ends of yarn and a little of our Merino fibre. It looks great!

Mandy has also sent us a whole host of other things hand spun AND hand knitted.

All the tops are lovingly made in our Mill, and we love to see what it looks like when it becomes a yarn.

Thanks to you all for sharing these lovely projects. We always love to see your finished items, so please do send in photos (simply email them to Juliet at [email protected])

Till next time! Keep the fibre fetish up!
