JOHN ARBON TEXTILES ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We believe in buying and making local. We source almost all our fibre and packaging materials from Britain and work closely with UK scouring and dye plants. We care deeply about creating yarn using the smallest footprint possible, for both environmental and economic reasons. The company strives for continual improvement, and all employees are committed to managing the environmental impact of our processes.

John Arbon Textiles recognises the importance of protecting the environment and this is reflected in the following policies:

  • Monitor our environmental performance and that of our systems and undertake waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
    • We produce virtually no waste fibre as broken tops are sold as show specials and noil distributed to visitors for their garden veg.
  • Our staff do all they can to reduce the company’s impact on the environment. We recycle most of the waste we produce and keep the remainder to a minimum.
  • If you have a specific environmental or production query then please email us at [email protected]
