it’s that time again…

Every year we get more and more excited about putting together our next catalogue! The shop and mill are all buzzing with extra activity – preparing scarves, socks and yarn to be photographed. Without giving too much away (because it’s so exciting to receive the surprise in the post!) here is a look at some behind the scenes shots from this year’s photo shoot…

We spent two days in the Lynton Town Hall shooting all the goodies for this year. Above is the diligent stylist, Juliet, straightening a wrinkled sock – a constant battle!

The aftermath. Trying to get through so many socks in just two days is a tall order – but there is always satisfaction in knowing that the job is well done.

We can’t wait to share this year’s catalogue with you, and to post a few more of our images from the photo shoot…as well as some new socks!  But there is still a little more tweaking and debating to be done, so that’s all for now…
