striped baby bootees

When a new baby comes along, it is all too easy to be caught without a gift at the last minute. Never fear, we have a cunning solution for you! It’s the Striped Baby Bootee pattern!

These simple and quick baby bootees are inspired by many vintage patterns dug up at car boot sales over the years.

They are knit flat and in one piece. The cuff is picked up and knit and then the whole thing gets sewn together. Easy peasy. In the bootee above, we used our Knit by Numbers DK yarn, but Excelana DK would work equally well. These little bootees are so sweet and addictive, we have certainly caught the bug!
