Wonderwool Wales Action…

Hello Fibre Folk,

We are now back into spinning world at the Mill after the whirl wind of Wonderwool Wales 2015! What a fab show, it’s one that we always enjoy doing.

John had lots of fun in ‘Top of the Tops’ corner as always! Lots of spinning folk visited our array of Mill cans brimming over with lovely fluff!
We took along a few new colours and fibre blends, created by Frankie.

Here we have ‘Pomegranate’ which is a Merino/Zwartbles blend. Very bouncy, and such a rich colour when spun up.

We also brought along ‘Grape’, which is going to be a new ‘Knit by numbers’ colour in the future! It looks great as a top – having a fine mix of colours.

And here are a couple of photos of the rest of the stand in case you missed us.

Viola was looking beautiful in colourful pyramids, next to the sumptuous Alpaca Supreme.

We adore the shawl pattern by Emily Foden – knitted from the Anthracite to Light steel in a grey gradient.

So, thank you to everyone who came to Wonderwool and said hello – was great to see you all!

Now, best go get cleaning the spinner for our second mill open weekend!

Hope to see you there!
