Illustration and Inspirational Printmaking with Artist, Becca Thorne
Sunday 6th July 2025, 15:00 – 16:00 (BST / GMT+1)
Becca Thorne is an incredibly talented artist, working mainly in the medium of lino print. Her art is so inspiring and atmospheric, which is why we asked her to work with us on the designs for our new ball bands! We knew you folks would love her work as much as we do, so we wanted to take the time to pick her creative brain and find out more about her artistic practice.
Becca takes much of her inspiration from folklore, history, and the natural world, and we can’t wait to ask her how she translates these initial ideas into beautiful works of art. If you’ve ever wanted to give lino printing a go, this might be the session that inspires you to take the plunge! There will also be time at the end to ask Becca all your burning questions!
This event will be hosted on Zoom. It is one of many being planned for our Virtual Mill Open Weekend celebrations. Please follow this link to see all that we are planning for this year’s Virtual MOW.
