Capturing the Rainbow – Creating Heathered Shades with Sonja + Helena

This talk is part of our Mill Open Weekend celebrations.

One of our favourite things to do at the mill is play with colour. We love mixing together various colours into richly heathered shades, much like an artist mixes paints. If you’ve ever wondered just how we go about creating those heathered shades, sometimes with flashes of blue, pink, green, grey and yellow all in one skein, then why not join Sonja and Helena (our JAT directors) as they explain how we go from initial inspiration, all the way through to spinning a finished range of yarn and tops.

As this year’s Mill Open Weekend specials are Yarnadelic shades, they’ll take a look at this yarn and how the new limited edition shades fit in with the rest of the palette and offer a few handy tips and tricks for creating colour combinations for your own Yarnadelic crafting projects!

If you click the link below then you will be taken to our booking system on Eventbrite to complete your booking. You’re also more then welcome to give us a bell (+44 (0)1769 579861) and book over the phone if you would prefer. Thanks!
