Jigsaw Puzzle – Woolly Takeover
Introducing our first foray into the wonderful world of puzzles – hurrah! We hope you like our limited edition, Woolly Takeover, 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle as much as we do. As well as being big crafters, we mill folk also consider ourselves puzzle aficionados – they’re just the perfect way to while away a winter’s evening, combined with something to nibble on and a roaring fire of course.
The eagle eyed amongst you might notice that this puzzle is illustrated our pal Katie Green Bean. We loved Katie’s Annual Issue 3 drawing of sheep running our mill so much that we just knew we had to recreate it in puzzle form. Isn’t it a beauty? You’ll spot all sorts of breeds of sheep (some might even look a wee bit like some of us mill folk!) along oodles of yarn and tops being made on those beloved vintage machines of ours. A bit about Katie…
Katie Green is an illustrator, podcaster and wool enthusiast, formerly from Devon but now based in beautiful South Wales. When not sharing videos of the creative process and walking in the mountains, Katie runs a shop filled with all manner of unique stationery, textiles and gifts for fellow crafters. Katie also designs playful colourwork knitting patterns, bringing together a love of nature, drawing, and of course wool.
