Post Unravel and preparing for the BIG MILL SALE

Thank you so much to everyone that came and visited our stand at Unravel, Farnham a couple of weekends ago, sorry for the delay!

As it was my first show as part of the John Arbon textiles team, I was very excited to meet everyone and get chatting with you folks. We had a lot of fun and were crazily busy! It was great to see all the projects in our yarns people brought to show us, and helping choose what colours would go best with new projects.

Ginger nut, the new Viola colour went in a whirl wind, but we have a few skeins left for another outing. It’s a fantastic colour, a bit tortoise shell cat, mixed with ginger nut biscuits as only a viola shade could be!

We are now busily preparing for the Mill sale which is happening at the end of the month! The mill is going to be opened for everyone to see, with John giving mini tours and a few of our lovely vintage machines will be demonstrated. Plus there will be scrummy goodies of socks, yarn, and tops on sale! Also cups of tea galore and Claire who works in the shop with Juliet will be bringing along her delicious homemade cakes!

Well over and out for now and we look forward to seeing you soon.

  1. I loved your stand at Ravelry but the staff were so busy it was impossible to get served so I was unable to make any purchases 🙁 I wish I was near enough for your Mill sale. Perhaps I’ll have better luck at Unwind in July!

  2. Hi Chris!
Oh we are sorry to hear that! We had a very busy weekend at Unravel and always need more hands than you have! Well we do hope to see you at Unwind in Brighton, however we are going to Woolfest in Wales and Wonderwool in Cumbria before then as well!
    John and the gang.
