Shows and such fun…

We have returned from our adventure to the big city. We exhibited at the Yarn in the City Market Place in Chelsea Town Hall, London.

We hope you all had a great time finding your way across the metropolis visiting all those wonderful woolly shops. It was great to still be a part of it in the Market Place and to see how many people joined in!

Here are a few photos of our stand…

This weekend we are off to the Somerset Weavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild in Hatch Beauchamp. It is a great Guild, with so many enthusiastic and creative members all excited to share their skills and projects … a hive of woolly activity at every meeting, accompanied by the odd cuppa and always a tasty homemade treat. John is very proud to be president of this Guild and this visit he will be one of the judges of the members dying projects. He and Juliet will also be taking along lots of fluff and yarn! Yum!

Here is just a taster of the brand new tops we will be taking exclusively for you Guild members!

Blue Spruce

Fibre Starter

Juniper

Pomegrante

Russett

Sycamore

Thistle

Good luck to all the dying entries! We can’t wait to see what you have cooked up in your pots!

In our spare time we are getting ready for Yarndale at the end of this month in Skipton (26th and 27th Sept)
You can find more information and buy tickets HERE.

Whilst listening to the latest ‘A Playful Day’ podcast… it was great to have a visit at the Mill by Kate recently… She had a tour of the Mill by John and her podcast is the result… it is fab… If you fancy a listen click HERE.
