Unravel 2015

Phew,

We are back from Unravel and all unpacked now!

We had an amazing show, and had so much fun. With the extra day on Friday it made for such a wonderful show!

We had new exciting things with us, including the 3 new Viola colours, which everyone seemed to love.
We cant wait to see what you all knit up in the English Mustard, Nimbus Cloud and Shepherds Warning.
And even if you’ve just bought it to add to your stash, it is wonderful to look at. Emily is a fantastic colour creator!

And for all those who could not make it to Unravel, the new Viola colours are now available on our website here.

We had a huge array of tops at Unravel, with John presenting ‘Top of the Tops’ in his own inimitable style.
We like to bring something new to shows if we can, so we took along the naturally coloured Merino D’arles and the Polwarth.

And we also took a medley of special mixed colour tops made by James at the mill…

This one is ‘Gruffalo’. And we had a lovely young lady called Eloise who visit our stand. Eloise was demonstrating drop spindling at Unravel.
She came back to show us the ‘Gruffalo’ she spun (thank you so much, we love to see how you spin up our fibres), and we thought it was incredible!
Such a fine weight spun on a drop spindle. A very talented young lady!

We also had a lovely lady who has knit up Emily Foden’s Seaside topper, she had even created two pom poms and tacks them in depending on which colour she wants to wear! Excellent!

Thank you so much to everyone that visited our stand. We had a great time and hope to see you again soon.
