Mill Tours – Sunday 18th June

On this special long weekend we will be opening our big roller shutter doors for viewings. You’ll be able to see and learn about our vintage spinning and processing machinery. Our trusty Mill Folk will be on hand to explain things as you travel through the Mill, providing you with a glimpse of how our yarn is made. Each tour offers the opportunity to wander around the Mill, soak everything up and ask as many questions as you fancy. We like to think that all this special attention helps those venerable old machines run more smoothly!

This year’s MOW will be held in the beautiful eighteenth century function rooms in South Molton Town Hall. Because of this, we have organised a mini bus to collect you from just outside the Town Hall (20 mins before your tour starts) and drop you off again after. All you will need to do is check in at the info desk when you arrive at our Mill Open Weekend and someone will be on hand to provide instructions on exactly how and where to catch your mini bus to the mill.

If you click the link below then you will be taken to our booking system on Eventbrite to complete your booking. You’re also more then welcome to give us a bell (+44 (0)1769 579861) and book over the phone if you would prefer. Thanks!

More Info: Please bear in mind, we are happy for children to come along to the Mill Open Weekend, but due to health and safety restrictions, children under 11 cannot go on a tour, and any children between 11 and 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18. We also love dogs, and they are welcome in the Town Hall, but unable to go round the mill.

Please let us know (via email to [email protected] or phone +44 (0)1769 579861) if you are wheelchair user, and we will reserve you the wheelchair slot on this particular bus ride. Alternatively, you may also drive to the Mill with your own transportation. There is very limited parking at the mill, so please do not drive over for your booking without having agreed this with us before-hand. We have provided a mini bus to transport as many folks as possible there and back instead.
