the move continues…

As our mill move continues, more machines are being broken down each day and slowly carted to their new home. Here is a look at the carder (who we call Chapman) being lifted out of place. Chapman is the largest and heaviest machine on the team, and took rahter a lot of time and effort to move from our old basement mill.

Butler, the folder, is also making his escape. Butler is a complicated machine with lots of pieces and required the help of genious engineer, Simon.

and again, with Butler in his new home on the mezzanine. Butler is a happy folder now, as all the fluff and dust that had accumulated in the old mill has been cleaned off and he is running better than ever!

Even more tubs, trolleys and cans are still on their way. To think that this was a big empty space just a short month ago!
