…Wonderwool and Wool Board

Good Monday Fibre Folks!
We returned from Wonder Wool Wales last week and blimey did we have a good time! The show is great! It was Frankie’s first time to the Welsh show and she was thrilled!

It was great to see many familiar faces again and we are looking forward to the next one already which is Woolfest on the 27th to 28th June!

Last week we were invited to go to the Devon and Cornwall Wool Board open day! We were given a tour around, and saw so much wool we could imagine having to process all of that!!

We saw some familiar fleeces including Blue Faced Leicester and Zwartbles and the lovely graders explained how the grading system works!

It was very interesting for us minions, but of course John was top of the class and knew everything anyway! The staff from the Wool Board then came over to visit us the following day! They all appeared to enjoy it and asked lots of questions!
